Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related trades, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and the use of hand and power tools. This role involves working on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring smooth finishes and even surfaces. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary. Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal consistency and application. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork as required, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is preferred. Experience in bricklaying or roofing may be beneficial but is not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
