Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, where you will apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster materials to the correct consistency for application. Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired finishes. Repair damaged plasterwork and carry out maintenance as required. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure project timelines are met. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the duration of each project. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in plastering techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering work. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with carpentry skills is beneficial for understanding structural requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
