Job Details

We have exciting opportunities for a Plasterer to work in and around the Southwest area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plastering, rendering, and finishing work for extension and renovation projects. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to a smooth finish. Carrying out rendering and dry lining tasks for internal and external surfaces. Repairing and patching damaged plasterwork. Assisting with the preparation of surfaces, ensuring they are ready for plastering. Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as bricklayers and carpenters, to ensure project progression. Ensuring all plastering work is completed to high standards, aligned with design specifications. Managing the cleanliness of work areas and ensuring a safe, tidy environment. Interpreting plans and drawings to ensure correct plastering work is carried out. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Interacting professionally with customers and addressing any questions or concerns.

Requirements & Skills

Full UK driving licence. Proven experience in plastering and related trades, ideally with a focus on home extensions or renovations. Ability to perform various plastering tasks (e.g., skimming, rendering, dry lining). Current Health & Safety training certificates, including but not limited to: Asbestos Awareness Working at Height Manual Handling Risk Assessments Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
