Job Summary

Please note this is a start up. We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on construction sites.

Work needs to be generated first in order to maintain consistent work thereafter.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to interior and exterior walls and ceilings, ensuring a high-quality finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary before plaster application. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to mix and apply plaster. Collaborate with carpenters, bricklayers, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met. Perform repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and re-finishing. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
