Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plastering and Tiling Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and reactive works. The role focuses on delivering high-quality finishes while meeting productivity targets, safety standards, and service-level requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plastering works, including patch repairs, re-skimming, making good, and surface preparation Complete wall and floor tiling, including repairs, replacements, grouting, and finishing Deliver tasks within allocated timeframes and performance targets Identify defects and determine appropriate remedial actions Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations, company procedures, and quality standards Maintain accurate job records and materials usage Communicate professionally with supervisors, property managers, and occupants Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organized Support other trades as required to ensure efficient completion of maintenance works
Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience in plastering and tiling within a maintenance or construction setting Experience working to scheduled or rated maintenance systems Ability to deliver a high standard of finish consistently Strong time management and ability to work independently Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Qualifications and Certifications

Relevant trade qualification(s) in plastering and/or tiling (preferred) CSCS or equivalent safety certification (preferred) Valid driving licence (if the role is mobile)
Desirable Attributes

Previous experience in residential, commercial, or social housing maintenance Multi-trade maintenance background (non-electrical) Good customer service and communication skills Flexible and reliable approach to work
