We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary before plastering Mix plaster materials to correct consistency using hand tools and power tools Apply plaster evenly on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels and hawks Ensure smooth finishes by sanding and polishing surfaces after application Repair damaged or uneven surfaces prior to plastering Assist with other masonry or carpentry tasks as required, including bricklaying or roofing work Operate relevant machinery such as power saws, drills, and welding equipment when needed Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels Experience with bricklaying and masonry techniques Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively Strong knowledge of plastering techniques for both interior and exterior applications Competence in carpentry skills relevant to construction projects Familiarity with roofing procedures is advantageous Welding skills are desirable for specialised repair tasks Good organisational skills with attention to detail and precision Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
