Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and be proficient in using various tools and techniques to create smooth, durable surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring an even finish. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results. Work with various materials including bricklaying and masonry as needed. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on site to ensure cohesive project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering. Knowledge of bricklaying and masonry techniques is advantageous. Ability to weld is considered a plus but not essential. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights when required (e.g., roofs). A commitment to safety practices on site.

Pay: 16.00-24.66 per hour
