Duties

Operate plating equipment and machinery to apply coatings to metal parts. Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning and masking as necessary. Monitor the plating process to ensure adherence to quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on plating equipment and report any issues. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the plating process. Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous factory experience is preferred, particularly in a manufacturing facility. Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience operating forklifts is desirable. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing tasks. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 7am - 4.30pm Friday 7am - 1pm
