Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to assemble and fabricate components using various materials. The Plater will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards while working on diverse projects.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Fabricate and tack assemblies according to specifications and drawings. Have an understanding of working with WPS Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in metal fabrication and supporting qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Experience with TIG process advantageous. Ability to assemble components accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations are required. A commitment to safety practices in a workshop environment is crucial.
