We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team who are focusing in development of one of or higher education platforms. The product facilitates the support and management of students from recruitment to employment.



The role is remote with the requirement to travel to a Tribal office when required.



The Role:



You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the underlying infrastructure and services that support our software application, focusing on ensuring the platform is scalable, reliable, and efficient. Your duties will include:



Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure.

Implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and management processes using Azure DevOps.

Monitoring and optimising cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and cost efficiency.

Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring seamless application delivery.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with security and governance policies, implementing robust security measures within the Azure environment.



The skills you'll need:



A strong background in Platform Engineering.

Experience of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.



It would be great if you had:



Experience working with a global team across multiple time zones.

Experience within a Higher Education or further learning setting.
