Role Summary




We are seeking a

Product Manager

who is passionate about the energy transition to lead the development of innovative technology solutions within our

Energy Transition Platform

.


As a

Platform Product Owner

, you will:

Manage and deliver key features on a technology platform supporting shipping decarbonization Collaborate with Business Platform Owners (BPOs), Functional Platform Owners (FPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Global Product Leads (GPLs) Define product features, manage the product backlog, and ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals

You'll work with an agile engineering team using modern practices like

pair programming

,

test-driven development

, and

continuous delivery

, and technologies such as the

Elixir programming language

and

data mesh

architectures.

Key Responsibilities



Product Strategy and Execution




Drive end-to-end product strategy, prioritization, and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, user-centric solutions.

Stakeholder Management




Align and influence internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and shared product goals.

Leadership and Collaboration




Lead cross-functional collaboration and documentation to deliver high-quality, customer-aligned product features.

Data-Driven Decision Making




Leverage analytics and KPIs to guide product decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.

Agility and Innovation




Streamline processes and feature intake to accelerate delivery of impactful, customer-focused innovations.

Qualifications



Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a technical field 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or product development in a high-performance, regulated industry (e.g., banking, energy trading) Proven experience managing full product lifecycles within agile or XP frameworks Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience influencing strategic product decisions and managing complex roadmaps Familiarity with energy efficiency, decarbonization, or climate impact methodologies

Preferred Skills



Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure to undefined spaces Strong technical understanding of relevant platform technologies Data-driven mindset with focus on KPIs, insights, and measurable outcomes Skilled in managing product documentation and updates for stakeholders at all levels (e.g., C-suite, executive reviews, AOPs) Proficiency with tools like
