Purpose of the Role


The Platform Product Manager will lead the development and execution of the product strategy, including defining the product vision, setting priorities, and managing the strategic product roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for creating innovative products and has experience in product management or a related field.
Keyloop's Platform underpins Fusion, our composable automotive retail platform and our Platform first development strategy.
Our Platform mission is to transform how the automotive industry builds, connects, and scales digital solutions -- enabling faster innovation through a secure, high-performance platform, creating measurable results.
The Platform empowers our internal teams, supports (and in some cases delivers) customer-facing features, and enables third parties to integrate with Keyloop.

Responsibilities


Sitting within the Platform Product Team, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing a subset of Platform capabilities.
Create and communicate a clear

productvision

and define your product

strategy

, adapting your strategy to the lifecycle stage of your product
Define your product's

strategicroadmap

, clearly articulating the business case where applicable; and understanding when to adjust your roadmap plan

Collaborate

with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure product vision is aligned with

business goals

Collaborate

with other Product Manager domain leaders to ensure your

product strategies

and roadmaps are fully aligned and supporting the overall Keyloop product strategy
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful

Go-To-Market

introduction of new releases, ensuring internal and external readiness
Perform research and analysis to understand the needs of your

market,

understand your

competitor landscape

and spend time with your

customers

to really understand their requirements and the problems your product needs to solve
Manage

P&L

for the product, driving strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs to improve gross margin.

Skills, know-how and experience


Must Have:
Comfort discussing technical concepts with engineering teams; APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), authentication/authorization, data pipelines. Though a technical background is not a requirement of this role.
A proven track record of performing a broad range of product management activities such as market research, analysis, roadmap planning and Go-To-Market
Commercial awareness and some experience of managing products as a business to increase product revenue & reduce product costs
Strong motivation and a passion for product and technology; comfortable asking probing questions and solving problems
An effective engaging communicator, builds effective relationships quickly and decisive
Customer-focused, with a strong desire to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
Strategic thinker, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritise features and requirements
Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to gather and analyse complex data
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to pivot when necessary
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

Preferred:


Good domain knowledge in the Automotive software market and/or prior Platform Product experience.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
Understanding and knowledge of Agile Methodology and Frameworks - Scrum, Scrum@Scale, SAFe
