You'll be part of BBVA's Quantitative & Business Solutions group - a diverse, global team of 50+ professionals (engineers, economists, mathematicians) who combine deep financial knowledge with tech-savvy mindsets.


Working under agile methodologies, your assignment will evolve quarterly, contributing to both functional support for Sales/Trading and strategic platform evolution projects.

About the Role



We're seeking a strategic leader with deep Front Office experience and a hands-on approach to transformation. As Credit Program Manager, you'll guide initiatives focused on Credit Markets, helping turn strategy into reality with a clear end-to-end vision.


Key responsibilities include:



Lead global transformation initiatives for Credit businesses. Collaborate with the Sales and Trading teams to define short-term, medium-term, and long-term project goals. Contribute to the design of new processes/solutions and the execution of new projects by providing expert criteria and experience in processes & project management. Drive improvements across the full product vale chain, from negotiation/origination to risk and accounting. Identify and implement enhancements in platforms, workflows, and decision-making tools. Explore and lead new tech initiatives, evaluating relevance and fit for Global Markets. Proactively spot weaknesses and improvement opportunities, delivering actionable solutions.

Minimum experience and skills:



Academic background in Engineering, Maths, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent C1 level English At least 7-10 years' experience working in the Front Office Broad knowledge of credit markets: DCM, Secondary, Derivatives, Lending business (end-to-end understanding of the lending value chain -- from origination and underwriting, to syndication, securitisation, and "originate-to-distribute" strategies.) Understand pricing, negotiation, and risk management processes from both a functional and technical perspective Broad knowledge of the whole product value chain (FO, BO, Accounting, Risk, etc.) Broad participation in strategic transformation plans. Relevant experience in process transformation and organizational changes Digital and open mindset, being able to challenge the status quo Expertise in teamwork and interacting with different areas Deep knowledge of Front Office tools (Murex, Bloomberg, etc.) Advanced knowledge of Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google tools

MBA, Master's Degree in Finance or other official certifications (CFA, FRM, etc.)
