Plating Operator Key Responsibilities:
Operating manual chemical plating lines as required in various coatings including Zinc, Zinc-nickel, Electroless nickel, Gold and Silver
Monitor production tanks by analysis and make chemical additions as required
Carry out X-ray testing for thickness of various coatings
Filling our Job cards with all relevant details of process carried out
Plating Operator Qualifications & Experience:
Educated to standard grade level
Demonstrable examples of dexterity
Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
Must be health & safety conscious
Plating experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provide
Plating Operator Skills & Behaviours:
Ensure a flexible and collaborative attitude within the team
Work constructively and support your peer team and other departments as required
Act in an appropriate manner when dealing directly or indirectly with customers
Ensure respect for all team members
Proactive with good time management
Good problem-solving skills within span of control/team
Display a positive attitude and be resilient to setbacks
Disciplined in maintaining schedules and documentation as required
What's in it for you?
Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you'll move onto a two-shift rotation, covering early and backshifts
