SEN Summer Camp

This summer, we are launching an exciting SEN Summer Camp filled with creative, sensory, and outdoor activities designed to build confidence, develop skills, and foster lasting friendships.

What You'll Do:
Support children during a wide range of activities including sensory play, creative arts, outdoor adventures, water play, music therapy, ball games, and life skills sessions.
Sessions are 4 hours long, with a minimum of one session per day. Overtime opportunities may be available.
Work alongside the Camp Manager and Activity Leaders to ensure activities run smoothly and safely.
Provide individual or small group support, ensuring every child has a positive experience.
Promote an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, accepted, and empowered.
Help with transitions between activities and daily camp duties.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Always follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour support policies.
Assist the Camp Manager and Activity Leaders with daily activities and transitions
Help supervise group activities and 1:1 support where needed
Who We're Looking For:
Enthusiastic individuals with experience working with children (experience with SEND is a preferred).
Passionate about supporting children with diverse needs in a positive, inclusive environment.
Reliable, caring, and team-focused.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to undergo an
enhanced DBS check
(we can assist if you don't already have one).
First Aid certification is desirable but not essential.
A positive attitude, resilience, and commitment to creating joyful experiences for children.
This is a
self-employed position
. Successful applicants will be responsible for managing their own tax and National Insurance contributions. If you're new to self-employment, we can guide you through the basic steps required to get set up.
