Assistant Manager

to help lead our team and ensure every family enjoys a warm, welcoming experience.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who's organised, people-focused, and thrives in a busy environment. You'll support the daily running of the play centre and cafe, lead staff on shift, and help deliver excellent service every day.

What you'll be doing

Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth running of the centre Lead and support staff to maintain high standards of customer service Manage opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and reporting Oversee cafe service, food preparation, and cleanliness Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are always met Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally Support with social media, promotions, and events where needed Step up to cover management duties in the Manager's absence

What we're looking for

Friendly, approachable, and confident leading a team Strong communication and organisational skills Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or leisure (supervisory level preferred) Great problem-solver with a can-do attitude Able to multitask in a lively, family-focused setting Flexible for weekends, school holidays, and varied shifts
