Job Description

About The Role

------------------

Drayton Park School is seeking a friendly, energetic and caring

Play Team Member

to join our lunchtime play team on a part-time, term-time-only basis for a one year fixed contract. Actual Salary Scale 2 Spinal point 3-4 5,614.40-5,649

Working under the guidance of the Play Coordinator, you will help to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive play environment where children can relax, play and thrive during lunchtime. You will support children both in the playground and during lunch, helping to ensure that lunchtimes are happy, orderly and positive for all pupils.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is confident supervising play, and can act as a positive role model. You will help set up and deliver age-appropriate play activities, support children's wellbeing and behaviour, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.

Experience of working with children in a school or playwork setting is desirable. A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential, and training in first aid would be an advantage.

If you are enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about supporting children's play and wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.
