Playworkers - Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs

Hours:

20 -22 hours per week (1 hour per week breakfast club and 3 hours after school)

We're looking for an energetic, caring

Play Workers

to support children aged 4 - 11 in the Leiston area.

, being a playworker is so much more than just... play!

Spend time supporting children before and after school and provide valuable learning and social opportunities. You'll be a valuable part of their day, making sure they get the most out of these sessions.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Leading fun and engaging play activities Supervising children aged 4-11 in a school club setting Ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed Serving snacks and promoting healthy habits Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Aged 18+ (due to insurance and Ofsted regulations) Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or play settings Confidence supporting play in a structured but fun environment Valid (or willingness to obtain) enhanced DBS

Desirable (but not required):

First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene certificates A childcare qualification (or working towards one) Full UK driving licence (for flexibility across sites)
