Kidz Zone Club have an opportunity for a 'Playworker' to join our team working at Houghton Conquest Lower School in Bedfordshire. You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering a wide range of 'active' childcare activities; working with children from ages 4 - 9.

As part of the role, TFG/KZ will provide training and mentoring to develop you within this role.

You will benefit from an extremely varied role - undertaking the following roles and responsibilities.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Full training is provided. Following club structure Delivering 'active' before school clubs Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.00am Delivering 'active' after school clubs Monday to Friday 3.00pm - 6.00pm Delivery of creative activities and free play. Preparing snacks and drinks. General administration responsibilities. Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies. Complete various training courses. Adhere to their placement organisations policies.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Passionate about working with children. Passionate about children having fun in a safe, active environment. Kind, caring and patient. Good communication skills and ability to relate to other people. Ability to engage young people positively. To be able to adapt to different challenges in a positive way. Reasonable level of personal fitness.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
