About the Role
We're searching for caring, energetic, and dependable individuals who love working with children. As a
Childcare Assistant
, you'll play a vital role in delivering a positive and enriching experience for every child.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading fun activities
that inspire creativity, movement, and teamwork--indoors and outdoors.
Supporting children's learning
through structured literacy and numeracy time.
Preparing healthy snacks
and promoting good eating habits.
Building relationships
with children, parents, and school staff to create a safe and trusting environment.
Encouraging inclusive play and development
, following recognised playwork principles.
What We're Looking For
A genuine passion for working with children.
A warm, enthusiastic approach and the ability to build rapport quickly.
Team spirit with clear, confident communication skills.
Reliability, independence, and strong organisational skills.
A willingness to complete training in safeguarding, first aid, and food hygiene.
