Job Description

The Kids' Table run supervised play tables in pubs and restaurants for children age 3+ to make eating out more relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family.

We are looking for child carers / play workers to to be based at a restaurant in St Paul's on Sundays 11.35am-4.20pm. Your role would involve setting up the activities with your colleague, supervising and engaging with children while their parents are relaxing close-by at the venue and clearing away at the end of the session.

Requirements:

- applicant should have at least 1 year of childcare/play worker experience

- applicant should enjoy and be competent at doing craft activities with kids

- happy to oversee a group of 3 - 10 year olds; helping them play games / draw / make

- Clear DBS check within the last 3 years

- First aid trained (ideally)

- availability Sundays

You will work on a freelance basis which means you will not be taxed and will be responsible for declaring your additional earnings with HMRC.

You will be assigned a minimum of 2/3 x shifts per month at this venue, but there will be an opportunity for more shifts at some of our other venues you are happy to travel to (these will be agreed with you when you join) as they become available. You will only be assigned shifts subject to your availability (no need to formally ask for leave) so this role is very flexible.

Ideal for teaching assistants / teachers / childminders / nursery workers / nannies to work around their studies / regular work.

Pay: 13.50 per hour
