The Kids' Table run supervised play tables in pubs and restaurants for children age 3+ to make eating out more relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family.
We are looking recruiting for a playworkers to join the team at The Tower Hotel on Saturday evenings 4.05pm-8.50pm. Your role would involve setting up the activities with your colleague, supervising and engaging with children while their parents are relaxing close-by at the restaurant and clearing away at the end of the session.
Requirements - applicants should:
- have at least 1 years of experience in and a passion for working with preschool/primary school aged kids
- have good customer service skills
- be a confident verbal communicator, warm, bubbly and enthusiastic
- be hard-working and conscientious
- enjoy and be competent at arts and crafts
- have a clear basic or enhanced DBS check within the last 3 years
- must be availability Saturday evenings between 4.05pm-8.50pm
You will work on a freelance basis which means you will not be taxed and will be responsible for declaring your additional earnings with HMRC.
You will be assigned a minimum of 2/3 x shifts per month at this venue, but there will be an opportunity for more shifts at some of our other venues you are happy to travel to (these will be agreed with you when you join) as they become available. You will only be assigned shifts subject to your availability (no need to formally ask for leave) so this role is very flexible.
Ideal for playworkers/ teaching assistants / students studying teaching or other child-related subjects.
