Job Title: Play Worker

Overview:
Join our team at The Kinderhouse Children's Nursery in Lytham St. Annes as a Play Worker, for our new before and after school clubs. 7:30am to 9:00am 2:30pm to 5:30pm. We are dedicated to providing a friendly, nurturing and fun environment for children of primary school age. Driving licence essential as you will be expected to drive our mini bus.

Responsibilities:
- Create a stimulating and safe play environment for children to explore and enjoy.
- Organize and lead group activities to promote social interaction and development.
- Supervise children during playtime both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized play area.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Implement activities that will educate and entertain children after a long day at school.
- Manage and engage children in age-appropriate fun experiences.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children.

Skills:
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to lead and drive activities for children.
- Knowledge of childhood education principles.
- Excellent leadership skills to manage group dynamics effectively.
