We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and promoting their development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime activities
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote social skills development
- Assist with snack time and mealtime routines
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent childcare qualification.
- NVQ level 2 (willing to work towards level 3)
- Welsh Speaking - Preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a creche, school, or similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 7.30am + 5.00pm
