Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our Jousters After school team at Applecroft Primary School in Welwyn Garden City, providing fun and engaging activities for children. This role requires excellent communication skills, a genuine care towards children and the ability to work well in a team.
Hours for this role are -
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm - 6pm. Please note this role is term time only. To start ASAP/by September.
APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FULL HOURS STATED.
Duties
- Supervise over play activities for children
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and learn
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Manage groups of children during play sessions
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English
- Qualifications in childcare or related field are beneficial
- Previous experience working with children is preferred, full training will be given.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 13.00 per hour
