The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Play Area Supervisor
to lead our play barn team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the play area, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children and families.
A key part of the role is planning and delivering fun, creative, and seasonal entertainment, with a clear week-by-week activity and events plan designed to attract and delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the play area team during assigned shifts
Create, plan, and deliver engaging weekly and seasonal entertainment programmes for children
Ensure the play area is safe, clean, and welcoming at all times
Deliver excellent customer service, handling enquiries and resolving issues professionally
Train, support, and motivate team members to maintain high standards
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures are followed where applicable
Assist with food preparation and service when required
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
What We're Looking For
Previous supervisory experience within hospitality, leisure, family entertainment, or a similar environment
Strong leadership and team-motivation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confidence working in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and allergen awareness
