Playgroup assistant to work with children with additional needs
Period of employment:
September 2025 - June 2026 (with possible extension for an additional school year)
Responsibilities:
Undertake learning activities and adapt accordingly to children's needs
Develop appropriate resources to support children
Carryout any specific duties as outlined in children's Individual Educational Plans (IEP's)
To provide feedback about the children's difficulties and/or progress to the leader and other professionals
Carry out daily observations and contribute to monthly learning plans
To maintain confidentiality at all times
Essential skills:
Minimum level 3 or equivalent
Desirable skills:
Experience of working in a playgroup setting and is familiar with Northern Ireland Preschool Curriculum
Experience or interest in working with children with additional needs
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 9-12
Pay:
12.21 per hour
Closing date:
30th June 2025
Anticipated interviews:
1st July - 4th July between 9 am-4pm
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: 12.21 per hour
