Vacancy for Breakfast Club Playworker

Hours:

3.75 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7.45-9.00am). Term time only

Contract:

Permanent from 1st January 2026

Salary:

JG1 / JG2 2 (12.65 - 13.05 per hour) depending on experience

The Role



Golden Valley Primary School provides wraparound care before and after school. We currently have a vacancy in our breakfast club and require a dynamic individual who is keen to share their expertise in supporting this care provision to enable pupils to enjoy a relaxed and calm environment at the start of the school day.

Specific requirements of the posts include:

Welcoming children when they arrive Serving breakfast Ensuring pupils are engaged and happy in a range of play activities Helping children get ready to join their class at 8.50am Help clearing up after the sessions so that the room is free for use during the school day

About you



We are looking for a confident, caring person who is able to enhance a childcare environment to ensure pupils feel welcomed and supported. You will be a team player, flexible, reliable and fun.
