We're now looking for enthusiastic and caring

Play-worker Drivers

to join our team. One applicant must hold a full UK driving licence (age 21+ for insurance purposes) as the role includes collecting children from school and driving them on trips during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities

During Term Time (After School Club):

Collect children from local schools in our 8-seater vehicle and transport them safely to the club. Supervise and engage children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork, and social interaction. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care. Set up and tidy away resources and play areas. Prepare and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.

During School Holidays (Holiday Club):

Drive the 8-seater vehicle for outings and trips. Plan and lead creative activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games, and themed days. Support and encourage children to explore, play, and have fun. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times.

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence (age 21+). Experience working with children aged 4-11 in playwork, childcare, or education (preferred but not essential) A genuine passion for supporting children's development through play. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or similar (preferred but not essential). Positive, energetic, and flexible attitude.
What We Offer

Important Requirements

Applicant

must

hold a full UK driving licence and be aged 21+ (for insurance purposes). Clear Enhanced DBS (can be applied for through us). References required.
