Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our Schools Out team at our Duffield site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for facilitating play activities that promote the development of children in your care, ensuring their well-being and enjoyment during their time with us.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging play activities that cater to the interests and developmental needs of children. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and communication skills. Maintain a clean and organised play environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Assist in managing behaviour by implementing appropriate strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Serving breakfast/tea/snack abiding by children's dietary needs

Hours

Term-time: Hours are split shifts which are 7am-9am, then return for 2:30pm-6pm. Holiday club hours vary between our opening times which are 7:30am-6pm. These include full days, half days and day shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
