The Role

Penkridge Middle School is a thriving and inclusive school at the heart of the community, supporting pupils aged 9 to 13. We are proud to offer a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish.

We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Out of School Club Playwork to support our before school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about creating a fun and supportive environment outside of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of a similar age group and will be confident in managing a small group setting. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential, and First Aid training--particularly in paediatrics--is preferred; however, training can be provided if needed.

Working hours are mornings Monday to Friday 7.30am - 8.30am. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment outside of the traditional school day.

Visits to the school are welcomed. Please contact Amy Griffiths (Office Manager) via email a-griffiths@penkvalley.co.uk or by telephone on 01785 413400 to arrange a call or visit.
