Key Responsibilities:
Program, modify, and upgrade PLCs
, HMIs, and control panels to support automation and system improvements.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair
faults across complex electronic and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Provide
reactive and preventative maintenance
support across all production and test departments.
Optimise control systems
to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and performance.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to
install and commission
new automation equipment and control systems.
Ensure
compliance with safety standards
, internal audits, and industry regulations.
Contribute to
continuous improvement initiatives
, focusing on process efficiency and reliability.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in an
industrial, defence, or manufacturing environment
with strong electrical and control system maintenance background.
Hands-on PLC experience
(Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi preferred) including programming, fault-finding, and system integration.
Proficiency with
variable speed drives, inverters, and motion/vibration control systems.
Strong understanding of
electrical schematics, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time-critical situations.
Relevant qualifications in
Electrical / Electronic Engineering
(HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
