Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other equipment
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals to ensure efficient and effective plumbing system installation and maintenance
- Respond to plumbing emergencies or service calls promptly and resolve issues in a timely manner

Experience:
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for assembling and disassembling plumbing components
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand plumbing system layouts
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring pipe lengths, angles, and dimensions

Note: Heavy lifting may be required in some situations. Carpentry skills are not necessary for this position.
