Job Description

We are a Construction Company based in Tameside . We are Currently looking to recruit an experienced Plumber to join our team of skilled employees.

Our work is based around the Greater Manchester and surrounding area, therefore a full driving licence is required.

Current projects include extensions, new builds, renovations, for both domestic and commercial schemes. We also have an adaptation contract with a local council, which mainly involves bathroom to Wetroom conversions.

Candidate should be able to work both within a team or alone, and have experience in all aspects of plumbing, heating, bathroom / kitchen, both first and second fix.

Gas safe qualified is not crucial, but helpful.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Also have the ability to plan and design new heating systems/layouts.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings, including plastic, copper, steel etc
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform plumbing tasks

- Install Wetrooms first and second fix
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as joiners and electricians, to complete projects
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction

-Ability to carry out simple joinery work, patching, as well as tiling are not essential, but would be a bonus

Hours of work 7.30 am -4 pm Monday - Friday and this is a position with an immediate start available

Salary is negotiable based on experience and successful probation period of 6 months. Employees own vehicle is preferred with elements of expenses paid

A company van would be available if candidate does not have their own, however a full UK driving licence would be required, and pay would then be adapted to suit
