Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assemble and install modern pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Work under instruction to meet the needs of the client. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements accurately. Ability to weld when necessary for specific plumbing tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. A commitment to safety practices and protocols on job sites.
