Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Plumber will ensure that all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance. Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for transporting tools and materials. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools specific to plumbing tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
