Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, physical stamina, and problem-solving abilities to ensure that plumbing systems operate effectively and safely.

Duties

Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Use power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks with precision. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential hazards. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site. Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles is an advantage. Experience using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment is essential. Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
