About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Plumber / Heating Engineer
to join our growing team. You will be working for a large, established UK company covering the North West region.
This role offers the opportunity to develop and expand your skill set, with
additional training provided
in areas such as electrical or gas work (depending on your background).
You will be responsible for carrying out
responsive maintenance
and
manufacturer warranty repairs
within domestic properties -- both private and rented -- ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic settings.
Attend manufacturer warranty calls to diagnose and resolve faults.
Undertake minor electrical repairs (e.g., changing sockets, shower fans, light fittings).
Ensure all work is compliant with health and safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 2 or 3
qualification in
Plumbing and/ or Electrical
(proof required).
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven experience working in domestic properties.
Strong technical understanding of domestic plumbing systems, fault diagnosis, and repair.
Desirable / Additional Qualifications
Part P Electrical Certification.
Electrical Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent).
Domestic ACS / Gas Safe certification
or equivalent.
Experience in electrical fault finding and control circuits.

Key Employment Details
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (door to door).
Additional Work:
Two weekend days per month (approx. 7 hours per day).
