Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and related skills, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of various plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial settings. Perform welding tasks as necessary for pipe fittings and repairs. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing jobs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assemble and install various piping systems according to specifications. Engage in heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all operations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices with hands-on experience. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations related to plumbing tasks. Familiarity with welding processes for pipe joining is advantageous. Competence in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Capability for heavy lifting as required by job demands. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary.
