Overview

I am looking to partner with an experienced Plumber & Gas Engineer to build a grow a plumbing and heating franchise in the UK. My background is in operations and technology and have previously run a plubming firm in London using a proprietary app to run operations in the field and back office. I also have lead generation skills such as branding and digital marketing.

I have since developed this operational model which includes but not limited to;

Job management Engineer tracking Advanced sub-contractor management Quoting, invoicing and payment Asset management 24 hour call centre Emergency call out system Emergency maintenance AI tool for estate agents/property managers (in build) Ecommerce - workwear, van livery etc.
I now wish to deploy this model in London and grow in several phases. I am happy to develop your existing brand or develop our own business from scratch.

1. Build a profitable brand in a single London territory (short to medium term)
2. Sell a second and third territory as a franchise
3. Sell the original territory territory and grow purely as a franchisor
4. Exit with a total sale of the business (long term)

Profile

You are an experienced plumber and gas engineer who is keen to develop their career beyond the tools or running a traditional trade business.

Responsibilities

Be the technical authority on plumbing, gas and heating Dictate best practice for installation and repair work Create troubleshooting documentation for plumbing and gas work Recruit and train plumber, gas engineers and franchisees Provide technical support to employees/subcontractors Be the voice of engineers in the field Keep up to date with industry trends and legislation Install, service, and repair gas appliances and heating systems in residential and commercial properties. (Short term) Provide quotations for customers for plumbing and gas work. (Short term)

Skills

Experienced plumber and gas engineer Strong diagnostic ability Excellent communication skills Idealy have been previously self employed
