Heating and plumbing Gas engineers in, Domestic and Commercial. We are also taking on domestic plumbing apprentices in the TW15 area..

Commercial

As a company, we are a full M&E HVAC company. We mainly carry out preventive and reactive maintenance at over 800 sites, but we also do full installs, from 6KW to 12MW. These are primarily within London and home counties. Heating & Plumbing - Gas Engineer:

Apprentice in the TW15 area.

Candidate should already be studying NVQ 2 or higher.

Successful applicant(s) from all levels, will be teamed up with another engineer for at least a month*.

This may involve being picked up,

OR

meeting them onsite with the use of a company van if applicable. (Van and tools supplied, see below)

Main duties to include, but not limited to, the following types of work:-

Heating installations and maintenance works

Plumbing installations and maintenance works

Gas installations and servicing

Work in domestic & commercial properties

Working with mechanical and natural supply and extract ventilation

Gas, Oil, LPG boiler replacements and heating system upgrades.

ASHP & GSHP, repair, maintenance and installation.

Underfloor heating installations, controls & repair work

Hot water cylinder replacements & vented to unvented system upgrades

Carrying out annual boiler servicing, domestic and commercial

Attending planned and un-planned urgent calls

Completing Landlord gas safety inspections, domestic and commercial

Fault finding & repair work to boilers, heating wiring, systems and controls

You will need to be able to:

Work independently & with other team members when required

Start and complete urgent jobs as requested with minimal notice

Be willing to work overtime when required to complete urgent jobs

On call one weekend a month.

Understand, deal with & resolve problems as described by the customer

Ensure work is carried out efficiently & to give customer's peace of mind

Work should be carried out to the highest standard, whilst ensuring customers' requirements and regulations are met. Overcoming any problems that may arise during the job, either independently or aided by the team. The customers' property, be it a kitchen or a plantroom, should be treated with the highest most respect, at all times, laying dust sheets around work areas and wearing shoe covers where required. Ensuring the work area is clean on completion as it were before you started.

Requirements, Qualifications & Experience

Full DBS, is preferable. Otherwise we will arrange for this to be carried out.

Plumbing & Heating Advanced NVQ Level 2/3? Diploma (similar or higher or

EXPERIENCE is preferred

)

CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, Unvented? Cylinders -

Not essential training can be given if experienced.

Commercial Gas, desirable but not essential -

Training provided

REFCOM. A bonus if you have AC knowledge, training can be provided for the right candidate.

Minimum 2 years' experience in installation & maintenance work, 5 years preferred.

Benefits

Qualified Salary 41k to 60k per annum + overtime

Apprentice Salary 20k to 29k per annum + overtime

Minimum 40 hours per week (includes college for apprentices)

29 days paid holiday (Inc. usual bank holidays)

1 extra holiday for every four years of continual service up to 35 days.
