Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring that all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards. The Plumber will work on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, and will be responsible for diagnosing issues, providing solutions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Weld pipes and fittings as required for specific installations or repairs. Assemble plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and bathtubs. Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Perform heavy lifting when necessary during installations or repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects on time.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing systems effectively. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Basic maths skills are required for measuring and calculating material requirements accurately.

Pay: 37,000.00-45,000.00 per year
