Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team.this will be a self employed position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Assemble plumbing systems according to specifications and codes. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Lift heavy materials as required during installations or repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues. Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations. Experience using both power tools and hand tools effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed on the job site. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.

Pay: 145.37-220.00 per day
