Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of handling various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires both technical expertise and practical skills to ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Weld and solder piping as necessary to ensure secure connections. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential improvements. Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of large fixtures or components. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects effectively. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous for transporting materials. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential. A background in carpentry can be beneficial for integrated projects involving multiple trades.
