Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe repairs or installations Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including carpentry and assembly tasks Lift heavy materials as required during installations or repairs

Skills

Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing work Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations Capability to lift heavy loads safely as part of daily duties Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage for transporting materials
