We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of gas systems, ensuring safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on faulty gas systems, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out installations and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and compliance documentation. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while working on-site.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to gas engineering tasks. Strong plumbing skills with the ability to understand plumbing systems associated with gas installations. Mechanical knowledge with an aptitude for assembly tasks related to gas appliances. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Experience in carpentry is advantageous for completing necessary structural modifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installation or maintenance tasks. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment between sites.
