We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential installations and repairs. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with regulations and safety standards. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform welding as required for pipe fittings and other plumbing components. Assemble and install piping systems, fixtures, and appliances. Carry out carpentry work related to plumbing installations when necessary. Lift heavy materials and equipment as part of daily responsibilities. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Skills

Proficient in plumbing techniques and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform carpentry tasks as needed for plumbing installations. Capable of heavy lifting as required by the job demands. A valid driving licence is compul for transporting materials to job sites.
