Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and pipefitting, with the ability to read and interpret schematics, perform various welding techniques, and carry out maintenance tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure high-quality installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial settings. Interpret and work from schematics to ensure accurate installations. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and installation processes. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing all tasks.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing and pipefitting work. Familiarity with soldering techniques for joining pipes. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during installations. Ability to assemble various components of plumbing systems accurately. Previous experience in construction or maintenance roles is advantageous.
