Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and mechanical systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship in a safe and efficient manner. Duties

Interpret and follow technical schematics and blueprints to install and repair piping systems. Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other construction tools. Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot issues within piping infrastructure and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Assist in the assembly of mechanical components related to plumbing systems. Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Experience

Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter in construction or maintenance environments. Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fittings, valves, and fixtures. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and maintenance equipment. Ability to interpret technical instructions and perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Experience with assembly processes involving plumbing components or mechanical systems is desirable. Knowledge of safety procedures within construction or industrial settings is essential.
