Fantastic opportunity to join this well-established Plumbers Merchants.

Our company is recruiting a Trade/Retail Counter Sales professional at our Leicester /Syston branch to help support the growth and success of the business.

Ideally we need someone with good knowledge of plumbing, bathroom and heating products. Someone who has experience within a plumbers merchants or builders merchants type environment, use to dealing with Plumbers, builders, contractors and also the general public.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and will be required to work closely with both trade customers and the general public. The company prides itself on a professional approach throughout its business dealings, and focus on quality advice, along with excellent customer service.

The role will be working on the counter as well as dealing with customers over the telephone. Deliveries will also be required daily and therefore a full clean driving licence will be required. In addition a positive and flexible approach is key as well as good computer skills.

You will need to be able to build working relationships with existing customers and encourage new business. In addition you will be working within a small team and so must be a good team player with a proactive approach.

You would be required to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:45pm. Saturdays 8:30am-12pm would be required two in four. Hours may vary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,888.00-30,000.00 per year
